MSCI 102L - Environmental Geology Laboratory (1 credit)

(=GEOL 102L) (Coreq: MSCI 102) The environmental geology laboratory course focuses on active learning exercises demonstrating the dynamic interrelationships of earth’s inhabitants, natural resources and geohazards. Specific exercises, conducted in the classroom and in the field, concern the resources and geohazards associated with mineral and rocks, global plate motions, earthquakes and volcanoes, wetlands and coastal regions and land-use issues.
