SOC 309 - Social Inequality (3 credits) (Prereq: SOC 101 or SOC 102 ) The course provides a social scientific overview of how individual experiences in social reality are unequal given the stratified nature of the world. Historical trends in inequalities and contemporary hierarchical social arrangements are examined.
