MSCI 315L - Field Methods in Oceanographic Data Analysis Laboratory (1 credit)

(Prereq: MSCI 111, MSCI 111L, and MATH 131 or equivalent) (Coreq: MSCI 315) The laboratory is a hands-on introduction to oceanographic data collection, using the oceanographic equipment found at a field station. Students will learn how common oceanographic instrumentation functions, deploy and retrieve instruments, and acquire and process data from the cruise.
