EDUC 810 - Qualitative Research Methods in Education (3 credits) This course will provide an introduction to qualitative methods in social science research, in terms of both the practical issues of conducting this type of research and the conceptual debates in the field. Methods include collection and analysis of observations, interviews, and other records of human activity to gain a better understanding of structures, processes, and perspectives that drive or shape human behavior. The purpose of the course is to assist students through the proposal and dissertation writing processes. TBA
