ARTD 201 Graphic Design I - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): ARTS 103 and ARTS 105
Students must have access to a computer for this course. An introductory course addressing the role of the professional designer in visual communications. Strategies, techniques and software used in the electronic design process are addressed. Topics covered are layout, design, typography, illustration, web design and desktop publishing.
