ARTS 102 Visual Arts and Culture - 3 credits

An introductory course in visual language and literacy. Through an exploration of various materials and approaches, the course includes a brief overview of methods of expression to examine the cultural, political, and social aspects of art. Instructors may emphasize different materials, topics, and approaches to art making.
