HIST 311 Environmental History - 3 credits

Interdisciplinary investigations into environmental themes and topics in historical perspective. Case studies explore the environmental dimensions of social, cultural, economic, military, epidemiological, and ecological practices and policies and how they impact class, gender, identity, prosperity, security, warfare, health, nature, and sustainability. May be repeated under different themes or topics no more than two times.
