HIST 410 Nationalism, Revolution and War in the Ottoman Empire, 1908-1923 - 3 credits

This seminar will explore the rise of revolutionary and nationalist movements during the last decades of the Ottoman Empire, the Balkan Wars, World War I, and the post-war peace. Primary attention will be paid to the impact these movements, wars and settlements had on the Empire, society, identity, and the successor states.
