HIST 461 The Pursuit of Peace - 3 credits

This course examines the evolution of diplomacy and pacifist thought, the advancement of international statecraft and its historical response to global crises, the efforts of individuals, NGOs, politicians and states to secure and sustain peace in contemporary crises, divergent historical narratives, and the role of historians in conflict resolution, transformation and historical reconciliation.
