MUS 115 Concepts and Elements of Music Theory - 3 credits

Corequisite(s): MUS 117 and MUS 172
This course is designed to study basic concepts of counterpoint and phrase structure, including simple embellishments of melodic lines, use of primary triads in phrases and an introduction to voice leading.
