INTEL 302 Intelligence as a Profession - 3 credits Prerequisite(s): INTEL 200 or permission of the instructor An exploration of the practice and organization of intelligence systems and processes in the United States. Students are introduced to key concepts in the evolution of American intelligence, including the development of ethical standards, accountability, oversight, diversity and inclusion, and respect for democratic principles and norms. Emphasis is also placed on understanding the approaches to screening and selecting candidates for intelligence and security employment in the public and private spheres.
