ACCT 532 - Topics in Financial Accounting - 3 credits

Advanced financial accounting topics include accounting for pension plans, income taxes, leases, investments, derivatives, and other current topics. Students compare and contrast U.S. Accounting Principles with International Financial Reporting Standards and complete research reports using online databases. A research project and presentation are required.
