MALS 650 - Graduate Research Methods - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): Permission of program coordinator or instructor
Course introduces students to the skills necessary to explore a range of topics suitable for study in the program. In addition to providing practice in locating and synthesizing information from a variety of academic resources, the course will also introduce students to other research methodologies (field, research, ethnographic studies, statistical analysis) and to theoretical and conceptual issues associated with humanities research.
