BIOL 592 - Phylogenomics - 3 credits This course introduces students to the basic principles of how genomic data is used to interpret phylogenetic relationships among taxa. Student reviews aspects of both evolutionary processes and phylogenetic theory to develop an understanding of how genomic data can be applied to answer questions in these fields using the available software tools.
