BIOL 492 - Phylogenomics (3 credits)


(Prereq: BIOL 350 /BIOL 350L ) This course introduces students to the basic principles of how genomic data is used to interpret phylogenetic relationships among taxa. Students review aspects of both evolutionary processes and phylogenetic theory to develop an understanding of how genomic data can be applied to answer questions in these fields using the available software tools.
