CSCI 444 - Human Computer Interaction (3 credits) (Prereq: 12 credit hours of CSCI courses numbered 120 or above, all with a grade of ‘C’ or better) A large percentage of the world’s software is devoted to the interface between computers and their users, and usability is one of the key factors deciding whether a software project succeeds or fails. This course explores the requirements analysis, design and evaluation of the User Interface in the context of Software Engineering Processes. Specific methods and design problems will be illustrated with real world examples in information technology, the internet, communications, mobility, multimedia and speech technologies. F.
