DCD 301 Q - Text Methods (3 credits)


(Prereq: DCD 345 ) This methods course provides an in depth overview and history of text technologies and the mediation of literary texts. Students are introduced to concepts of textual mediation, digitalization and archiving, as well as critical debates surrounding intellectual property in digital environments, text interface design, and the politics of reading and translation across modalities.
