ECON 340 - Economics of Entrepreneurship (3 credits) (Prereq: junior level status) Entrepreneurship can be thought of as capitalizing on a situation. An entrepreneur is someone who recognizes opportunity and through creative endeavor acts to satisfy a need or desire of businesses or individuals. In broad terms, an entrepreneur combines resources in such a way that the resulting product is more valuable than the sum of its parts. In this course students will produce, examine, develop, and evaluate entrepreneurial endeavors.
