MALS 650 - Graduate Research Methods

(3 credits) (Prereq: Admission to MALS Program) (Prereq or Coreq: MALS 600) Course introduces students to the skills necessary to explore a range of topics suitable for study in the program. In addition to providing practice in locating and synthesizing information from a variety of academic resources, the course will also introduce students to other research methodologies (field, research, ethnographic studies, statistical analysis) and to theoretical and conceptual issues associated with humanities research.
