MALS 697 - Internship

(1 to 6 credits) (Prereq: permission of adviser and instructor) The guided internship requires 40 hours of on-site work per credit hour, responses to reading assignments relevant to the internship, and a final paper. The purpose of the course is to provide graduate students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) program with practical opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills, to introduce them to local and regional employers in their field of interest and study, and to enhance networking opportunities.
