COMM 421 - Social Media in Health Contexts (3 credits)


(Prereq: 60 credit hours) Combines theoretical and hands-on approaches to health issues in social media. Students explore multiple social media technologies, recognize how social media can affect health and health behavior, and learn how to use social media for health promotion. Outside of class, students use social media to discuss course topics and interact with classmates.
