ENGL 454 - Psycholinguistics (3 credits) (Prereq: ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 with a grade of ‘C’ or better, a grade of ‘C’ or better in one other ENGL course, and junior standing) A survey of selected aspects of the field focusing on the cognitive and behavioral foundations of child and adult language acquisition. Other topics may include developmental and catastrophic language disorders, neurolinguistics, and the language-thought interaction.
