MATH 242 - Modeling for Scientists I (3 credits)
(Computer Usage) (Prereq: A grade of ‘C’ or better in MATH 160 ) (Coreq: MATH 242L ) The class is designed to introduce students to concepts in mathematical modeling and scientific computing. The course is project based, and Computer Software will be used extensively to implement models, solve problems, and visualize results.
