PHIL 305 - Contemporary Moral Issues (3 credits) (Prereq: Sophomore standing or higher, or permission of the instructor) This is a course in the application of ethical theory through the examination of moral issues confronting people in contemporary society. Topics vary but may include discussion of ethical problems related to abortion, drug use and laws, euthanasia, war and terrorism, homosexuality, violence, animal rights, the environment, and punishment.
