POLI 448 Q - Mock Trial (1 credit) Mock Trial is an activity in which students learn the principles of trial advocacy and then apply those principles as they try a fictitious case. Mock trial gives undergraduate students an opportunity to learn firsthand about the work or trial attorneys, understand the judicial system, develop critical thinking, increase self-confidence, and develop the ability to work well with others. This course may be repeated up to eight times for credit. It may be counted up to three credits for political science major or minor requirements. F, S.
