SOC 301 - Gender and Society (3 credits)

(Prereq: SOC 101 or SOC 102) This course examines gender in terms of men’s and women’s identities and normative behaviors that occur in gendered institutions within an inequitable, patriarchal social structure that allots power and privilege to men over women, across all classes and races.
