UNIV 301 - Applied Principles of Peer Mentoring (2 credits) (Prereq: completion of UNIV 300 and permission of the instructor) This course is designed to offer academic credit to Peer Mentors who spend eight to ten hours each week assisting the instructor in FYE, planning course content, meeting with first-year students and other course-related responsibilities determined by the Faculty Mentor or Peer Mentor Coordinator. This course specifically addresses topics and issues directly related to teaching and mentoring first year students in the success seminars. F.
