EDLL 200 - Literacy in the Digital Age: Tweets, Texts, and Avatars (3 credits) What it means to be literate is constantly changing. The very texts we read have changed from being static, paper-based documents to being dynamic, digital media. This course gives students the opportunity to make meaning of the different ways people engage these texts. Offered as a hybrid, students will spend time in the community exploring people’s different interactions with text and then meet as a group on campus to share their experiences and findings. F, S.
