PHIL 360 - Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art (3 credits) (Prereq: Sophomore standing or higher, or permission of the instructor) This course addresses questions concerning the nature of art, aesthetic value, aesthetic experience, and the ontology of art, along with aesthetic questions specific to art forms such as music, theatre, painting, architecture, and poetry. Topics may also include the aesthetics of the natural world and of everyday objects.
