A minor in chemistry is available. Students interested in minoring in chemistry should contact the department chair of chemistry and physics. A grade of ‘C’ or better is required in each course to be applied toward the minor.
CHEM 301 Workshop Leader Training - 1 credit , CHEM 399 Independent Study - 1 to 6 credits , and CHEM 499 Q Directed Undergraduate Research - 1 to 6 credits are not acceptable. MSCI 401 Environmental Chemistry - 3 credits /MSCI 401L Environmental Chemistry Laboratory - 1 credit is acceptable for this requirement
