ANTH 345 - Archaeology of Plantations (3 credits) An archaeological analysis of antebellum plantations with an emphasis given to the significance of settlement patterns, spatial organization, architecture, lifeways, crop production, cemeteries, social and economic conditions, and how groups of artifacts speak to these varied topics and the complex relationships that existed between planters, overseers, and slaves.
