ENGL 320 - Writing Tutor Training (1 credit)

(=UNIV 320) (Prereq: ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 with a grade of ‘C’ or better) This course introduces students to both theoretical and practical concerns, issues, and questions central to the work of a writing center. As they investigate current trends in writing center scholarship, a variety of writing center models, and their own practices as tutors, students will question the practice of tutoring as they develop their own reflective stances.
