HIST 365 - Critical Moments in American History (3 credits) This course focuses on specific events that changed the course of American history. Students engage primary and secondary sources while analyzing the causes and consequences of each historical event. Reading and writing assignments will advance the notion of contingency – the argument that even minor alterations in actions or circumstances can produce different historical outcomes. Topics may vary by instructor; this course may be repeated for up to six credit hours. F, W, S, M, Su.
