EDUC 455 - Living in Poverty (3 credits)


(Prereq: EDUC 215  and Teacher Education Majors) An in-depth study of poverty and inequality in the United States, its history and issues related to life in poverty; how poverty affects students across the nation; the potential impacts on their academic attainment; and adverse effects on students lifelong career pathways and opportunities.
