CHIN 310 - Chinese Conversation (3 credits)

(Prereq: CHIN 210 or permission of the instructor) This course provides students who have taken CHIN 210, or obtained equivalent proficiency, with the opportunity to further develop oral skills in Mandarin Chinese at the intermediatemid level. Students build vocabulary and skills in the use of appropriate social protocol and communicative practices for a variety of living and professional settings with people who speak Mandarin. Students also deepen their understanding and appreciation for Chinese culture through a series of communicative and purposeful activities set in authentic social and cultural contexts. F, S, Su.
