ARTH 311 Modern African Art and Culture - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): ARTH 105, ARTH 106 or ARTH 107
This course explores modern and contemporary African cultural expression through its visual arts. Specific investigations will include genres such as painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, film, and multimedia artworks that illustrate the intersection of art and life in African societies.
