ARTH 366 Chinese Art and Archaeology - 3 credits Equivalent: ANTH 366 This course surveys the art and archaeology of early China focusing on major finds dating from the Neolithic through the Han dynasty. It also looks at how art historians and archaeologists use visual and material culture to reconstruct different aspects of early Chinese society and major issues relating to the practice of archaeology in China.
