ARTH 208 Asian Art - 3 credits

In this course, students learn how to analyze and interpret visual culture through the study of the arts of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. Topics covered include Angkor Wat, the Gold Crowns of Silla, the Forbidden City, Japanese Gardens, Himalayan Cosmic Buddhas, and the Taj Mahal.
