SMED 401 Special Topics in Social Media Study - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): SMED 101 or permission of instructor.
Students explore selected themes relating to social media study. Course themes vary by instructor but may include the history and evolution of social media, social media and global cultures, influencer culture and digital celebrity, and social media and civic discourse.
