COMM 405 Race, Media, and Culture - 3 credits

This course provides students the knowledge and skills to understand, analyze, and critique contemporary and historical racial formations within media and culture. Topics may include intersectional discourses, representations, and ideologies within news media, popular media, sports media, film, and television.
