ANGE 300 Q* Human Landscapes - 3 credits


Prerequisite(s): ANGE 120  
This course intensively examines the way in which anthropologists and geographers use landscape analysis in studies of the interaction between people and their environment. We discuss the formation of anthropogenic landscapes and feedback cycles, and the way in which this affects human behaviors past and present. Case studies can include agriculture, climate change, pollution, population, urbanization, and the Anthropocene.
