ARTH 219 Islamic Art and Architecture - 3 credits

This course serves an introduction to pre-modern Islamic artistic and architectural traditions in the Mediterranean, Middle East, Central Asia and India. Students will learn how Islamic beliefs have shaped these traditions and the importance of cultural exchange between the Islamic world and the rest of Africa, Asia, and Europe.
