ECON 330 Economics of Tourism - 3 credits


Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in ECON 201 Q*  and ECON 202 , or a grade of ‘C’ or better in ECON 101 
Economic theory is used to explain the demand for leisure and how people make decisions regarding leisure. Economic fundamentals of the tourism industry, development of tourist destinations, tourism in the Grand Strand area and tourism in the global economy.
