EDML 445 Middle Level Instructional Theory and Practice - 3 credits Prerequisite(s): EDML 417 and EDML 441 Corequisite(s): EDML 350 Application of general teaching models as they apply to subject matter in the middle school. The student is expected to demonstrate a variety of instructional competencies during supervised teaching situations in stimulated situations as well as in school classrooms. A significant portion of the course addresses proactive and reactive classroom management strategies. A clinical field experience at a middle school site is required and included in this course.
