EXSS 490 Seminar in Exercise and Sport Science - 1 credit

Note: Students are often required to wear professional attire during their internships and field experiences. EXSS 490 is the prerequisite for these courses. Implementing a lab fee in EXSS 490 would allow the department to use those fees to purchase these students professional polos.
Restriction(s): EXSS Major and sophomore standing
This course prepares the EXSS major for an internship or field experience in exercise and sport science. Students analyze career placement opportunities; seek and communicate with potential internship/field experience sites, explore the process, and complete associated program and professional development requirements.
