FIN 441 Financial Derivatives - 3 credits


Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in FIN 301 
This course is designed as an introduction to risk management and derivatives. The course employs practical applications to introduce students to the risk management process. The course will provide an introduction to the following topics: option and futures basics, derivatives securities markets, valuation of derivatives, derivative trading strategies, the management of corporate risk, and an overview of the use of derivatives in accounting.
