GEOG 301 Concepts in Geography - 3 credits


Prerequisite(s): ANGE 120 /GEOG 120 , or permission of the instructor
This course will explore the basic concepts, methods, and schools of thought in the discipline of geography, including human and physical geography. Students will explore the history and development of schools of thought in modern geography, including regional science, spatial science, GIScience, and critical geographies. Key concepts that will be covered include spatial analysis, scale, space and place, human-environment interaction, globalization, and development.
