MSCI 420 Advanced Environmental Science - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in BIOL 122, BIOL 122L, MATH 160 or MATH 160B, CHEM 112, CHEM 112L, and PHYS 205 and PHYS 205L or PHYS 211 and PHYS 211L
Corequisite(s): MSCI 420L
Students actively investigate the earth system along with current environmental issues. Emphasis is placed on the integration of the many subsystems that comprise the earth system. Environmental issues are scientifically explored in an effort to develop sustainable solutions. The lab is project oriented, including both a local environmental study and a global remote sensing study.
