PHYS 420 Solid State Physics - 3 credits Prerequisite(s): MATH 161 or MATH 161B , PHYS 214 , and PHYS 212 or PHYS 213 A study of the fundamental properties of solids, especially semi-conductors and metals, such as structure, conductivity, and models of solids.
