MSCI 305 Marine Chemistry - 3 credits

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in: MATH 131, MATH 135, MATH 160, or MATH 161; AND MSCI 111/MSCI 111L, MSCI 112/MSCI 112L, and CHEM 112/CHEM 112L
Corequisite(s): MSCI 305L
An introduction to the chemistry of seawater, sediments and organisms and how their interactions impact the planet. Special emphasis is placed on the impact of humans on the biogeochemistry of the ocean.
